Interesting cover! I like the changes they made on the cover as far as the title is concerned but the font colour (of the title) seems a bit off!

I was very surprised when I saw a paperback version of The Warlock in the bookstore a while ago.
I was like flamelssecret/jawdrop.gif when I saw it. I thought that the paperback versions do not come out at least after a year from the hardbound first edition release. I had to hold and stare at the book for a few seconds to believe that I'm seeing a paperback edition!

I cannot believe how many countries are reading this series and how the covers look so much alike to the ones I have, but yet they are so different. They all look amazing though.

And good news too for our Romanian members, The Magician was released for you just yesterday!

Just wondering--is "The Necromancer" and the "The Warlock" translated into Korean? (Actually, I don't need the Korean, nor do I read Korean, but I'm just wondering--if the first three books came out all at once, when will the next three books be released?)

Hi Advinci, no The Necromancer and The Warlock have not been translated into Korean yet and I do not have any information or date for that yet.

But I do have good news for Holland, New Zealand and Poland!

On October 3rd The Warlock is released in Holland:

I like the yellow background on the New Zealand version, it's kind of cool.

Will it bother if I ask if there will also be a Filipino version of the books?

Just asking...

It is no bother at all. I think I can partially answer that. Although I would love to see a Filipino version of the series as well I'm not sure we will be seeing that in the near future. Publishing houses decide whether they should take on a foreign title and adapt it to the country's language and the Philippines generally follow the book trend in the US, therefore selling those titles in their original form. Also, I believe that book sellers in the Philippines are in agreement of promoting and patronizing local authors and their work, that is why we rarely see mark downs on book titles by Filipino authors, so a translation of a foreign title might take away from that pact. I will, however keep my fingers crossed.

I'll cross my fingers too.. And anyway, even if it would be possible, translating it would prove to be difficult as there are words in the Book that has no equivalent in Filipino, so the result would be like awkward..

I'm interested to see how a translated Filipino version will turn out.
But I think the need for a translated Filipino version is scarce because the Philippines is an English speaking country.

Interesting that France changed the title to The Traitor. Does anyone know the full translation for all the German versions? There seems to be an extra word on all of them.
