That would be...
Maybe Dee, Mach...maybe Prometheus? Because he DID break his oath to never train another humani, but then he trained Josh. I doubt it, but hey-anything's possible!

Dee is highly unlikely, seeing how he got the title of the second book.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Other than that though they are good guesses.

I wonder if Perrier is going to be in the Warlock.

Perrier was a nephew (or a son from a prior marriage) of Perenelle, mentioned in The Sorceress by Machiavelli.

Though I doubt that he would be the Warlock.

According to Michael, there is no pattern, so it might be an Elder as well.

Well, it seems like Mach is switching sides, and he took an oath to serve his Elder (Aten), and switching sides seems rather like it would be going against that oath. Plus, (on what is the currently most recent page of the ask Michael forum), Michael has been quoted on saying that a warlock is traditionally male.

traditionally male, but there are some who go against the grain. For example, kings are traditionally male; but there have been some female kings at least princesses that have been trained as men.

He said "not in this case."

QUOTE (Michael Scott @ February 22, 2011 01:15 pm)

Warlock usually means a male witch.  But not in this case.  You need to look at the original meaning of the word.

As I understand this quote, it seems that we must consider the possibility that the Warlock could be either gender; not necessarily a male.

I wonder if The Witch of Endor brought Isis and Osiris with her because she wants Mars to train one of them to be a Warlock.

just curious.

I'm curious about how can someone be trained in oath-breaking...

But everything's possible. I, personally, don't think that the Warlock will be an Elder.

I think the Warlock does not refer to someone that is to be trained. It's hard to imagine that Book 5 will follow the particular element of Book 4, where a Necromancer was trained...

I know that it's highly unlikely, I was just referring to the theory that Mars might train/help the titular character. For example if it goes how I think it will - that Machiavelli will change sides, so will become an oathbreaker -, Machiavelli will simply follow his own decision...
