Yep, you're right Dee created the fog. Doesn't mention what magics he was trained in, though.

Probably none, but he knows the one spell to create fog. Kind of like how it mentions in the Sorceress that Perenelle knows a little bit of wind magic spells, but not the entire magic itself.

True, but I think that he meant elemental magics. Good list, though. Seeing through animal eyes is basically scrying, though.

Ding Ding Ding,
Hippogriff has it in the bag. I meant elemental magics but again, good list of magic taught and seeing through animals eyes is basically scrying.

By, definition, scrying is a form of magic practiced that involves seeing things physically through a medium, usually for the purpose of gaining spiritual visions and less often for purposed of divination and fortune-telling. flamelssecret/OFF T SMILEY.gif
In this case, medium=animal eyes

You would have to be incredibly powerful to even notice them scrying on you.

Yes, I believe that he may know only the fog trick, as it makes everything creepier, and also makes it harder for Flamel to escape.

I love the dead bear part. I'm sure Dee would be thinking the same thing.

Yeah, the bear and other dead animals are pretty cool, and really add to the necromancy scene.

Yes, and this may have been answered, but I am unsure. Mr. Scott has said that the twins are the only fictional characters in the series, so does anyone know where the ghost of Jefferson Miller comes from?
I apologize if it is something well known.

Yes, he did say that the twins were the only fictional characters in the series, but I believe he was referring only to the characters who have at one point contributed to the advancement of the plot. Jefferson Miller, I think, was one of those minor characters who were needed to help a main characters with a singular task or in the case of Roux in Paris and Dee's assistant in Canary Tower needed to complete a certain scene.
